Partnerships
We partner with companies throughout the country.
American Land Title Association
ALTA members search, review and insure land titles to
protect home buyers and mortgage lenders who invest in
real estate. Maintaining relationships with ALTA members
is a part of U.S. Recordings' strategy of keeping on the
pulse of the title industry.
MERS
U.S. Recordings is a preferred provider for MERS
(Mortgage Electronic Registration System).
Consumer Bankers Association
CBA provides leadership and representation on retail
banking issues including privacy, fair lending and
consumer protection and consumer protection
legislation/regulation. Our membership aligns us with
some of the nation's largest bank holding companies and
consumer finance companies.
Electronic Real Estate Recording
This group of Minnesota mortgage industry leaders meets
to discuss the potential for automating the filing,
recording, storage and retrieval of real estate records
in the offices of Minnesota county recorders. The real
estate may be in Minnesota, but the buyers, sellers,
realtors, and mortgage bankers may all be based in other
places. While there are no national standards for these
records, one goal of this group is to find a common way
within Minnesota to provide access to these records.
Jeff Carlson, U.S. Recordings' CEO, holds one of five
chairs on the Executive Committee of ERER.
Mortgage Bankers Association of America
U.S. Recordings' employees are active in the
association, reaping the advantages of idea sharing,
networking and educational opportunities. You'll also
find us as exhibitors and attendees of key MBA
conferences during the year.
Property Records Industry Association
PRIA serves many functions, including working to
identify areas of consensus within the industry leading
to recommendations for national standards of recorded
documents. As a member of PRIA, U.S. Recordings is able
to be a part of these discussions to help develop
solutions to make the industry more efficient, effective
and responsive.
Rekon
The integration of U.S. Recording’s eRecording
system with Rekon’s loan servicing software
provides mortgage loan servicers additional
jurisdictions to which documents such as lien releases
and assignments can be electronically submitted.
Because of this integration, Rekon customers are able to
utilize the U.S. Recordings system to transmit documents
to jurisdictions.
