Rekon Technologies, U.S. Recordings Announce eRecording Technology Partnership Technology partnership adds new counties to lien release and assignment preparation system for electronic transmission to county recorders Pasadena, CA - June 7, 2006 – Rekon Technologies, a software provider for lien release and reconveyance preparation and U.S. Recordings, a St. Paul, Minnesota-based leading provider of centralized mortgage recording solutions, announce a technology partnership to add new counties for electronic recording of mortgage lien release and assignment documents. This integration of U.S. Recordings’ eRecording system with Rekon’s loan servicing software provides mortgage loan servicers additional counties to which documents such as lien releases and assignments can be electronically submitted. With this integration, Rekon customers will be able to utilize the U.S. Recordings system to transmit documents to counties. As more counties upgrade their systems, submitters expect seamless technology integration that provides one-stop solutions for document preparation in order to manage the fluctuating volume of loans. “Our partnership with U.S. Recordings will be welcomed news for our clients who, for the last three years, have benefited from eRecording,” says Aurora Marsh, executive vice president of Rekon Technologies. “U.S. Recordings is actively integrating new counties across the United States to its eRecording system while constantly upgrading requirements for each county to better serve our joint clients,” says Jeff Carlson, chief executive officer of U.S. Recordings. Through this integration, documents are electronically sent from a client’s Rekon system to U.S. Recordings. The documents are then sent from U.S. Recordings to the jurisdiction for eRecording. The eRecorded documents are returned back to U.S. Recordings and posted to the Rekon system. This business relationship adds 20 eRecording counties being served by the two firms, with an additional 6 counties initiating eRecording with them later this year.
